Katherine Rees, a former beauty queen who lost her Miss Nevada USA title over a series of racy photos leaked online, is reportedly facing several drug charges.
Court papers filed Monday in Las Vegas charge Ms. Rees, 30, with selling methamphetamine on Sept. 22 to someone identified only as “J. Peacock.” A month later, she was found with 5.3 grams of meth, the complaint said, accusing her of conspiring with “unknown co-conspirators,” the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.
Ms. Rees is charged with four felonies, including “trafficking in a controlled substance, sale of a controlled substance, and two counts of conspiracy to violate the uniform controlled substances act,” the paper reported.
A $50,000 warrant for her arrest was issued Wednesday by Las Vegas Justice of the Peace Joe Sciscento.
Ms. Rees won the title of Miss Nevada USA 2007, but was stripped of the crown after scandalous photos showing her licking another woman’s nipples at a Florida nightclub, among other suggestive poses, surfaced online.
She was previously charged with resisting arrest in 2008 and drug possession in 2012.
