NEWPORT CENTER, Vt. (AP) - Police say a man accused of crushing seven sheriffs’ vehicles with a tractor in 2012 has been involved in another tractor-related incident.

Police tell The Caledonian Record (https://bit.ly/1ILDEKc ) that 37-year-old Roger Pion of Newport City, Vermont, was operating a tractor Tuesday at an intersection when 76-year-old Theresa Breault of Morrisville tried to pass him in her Mercedes.

Officials say Pion turned left and ran into the car, causing it severe front end damage. Two car passengers were taken to the hospital as a precaution.

Police are investigating.

In 2012, police said Pion was angry about a marijuana possession arrest when he drove a tractor over cruisers and a van, causing $300,000 in damage.

He was found to be insane at the time of the rampage and ordered to undergo treatment.
