BALTIMORE (AP) - Police in Baltimore have identified three of those killed when gunmen jumped out of two vans and fired at a group of people.

Police said Thursday that the three killed were 34-year-old Gerald Thompson, 53-year-old Jacqueline Parker and 39-year-old Lamont Randall. Police have said a fourth victim was in stable condition.

Police have said the shooting Tuesday night a few blocks from the University of Maryland, Baltimore campus was not random. No arrests have been made.

Police say Thompson’s last known address was on the block where the shooting occurred and Parker’s was a few blocks away. Randall’s address was about three miles away.

The city has seen a spike in violence in recent months, with at least 156 homicides so far this year.
