ROCK SPRINGS, Wyo. (AP) - Heavy rain and flooding has residents in southwest Wyoming repairing the damage left behind.

The Rocket Miner reports (https://bit.ly/1RmBnKX) Rock Springs residents have been spending the days following Monday’s storm helping one another repair flood damage by filling sand bags, shoveling and washing mud from city sidewalks, and cleaning area businesses.

About 1.5 inches of rain fell Monday and Tuesday, and forecasters say the wet weather could continue through Thursday.
