TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - Severe thunderstorms are threatening New Jersey.

The National Weather Service said Thursday a storm watch is in effect until 11 p.m.

The service says the storms could bring damaging winds and are expected to intensify as the move east from Pennsylvania.

A tornado or two is also possible.

The watch was issued for parts of eastern Pennsylvania, northeast Maryland, northern Delaware and all of New Jersey including coastal waters.
