INDIANOLA, Iowa (AP) - Authorities have been seeking two inmates who escaped from the Warren County Jail in south-central Iowa.

Sheriff Brian Vos says 26-year-old Frank Manders and 29-year-old Darian Crayton broke out early Monday. Vos says they manipulated a cell door lock and descended from the third floor before fleeing to the north when they got outside the building in Indianola.

Authorities say Manders had been jailed on charges of vehicular homicide and other crimes. Crayton had been jailed on charges of driving while barred and failing to appear in court.
