LONDON (AP) - Princess Charlotte’s father is returning to work after nearly a month of unpaid paternity leave.

Prince William, second in line to the British throne, is back on duty Monday as an air ambulance pilot after Britain’s latest princess was born on May 2. He works with the East Anglian Air Ambulance service.

William had previously been a Royal Air Force search-and-rescue pilot based on an island off Wales.

William and his wife Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, have spent most of the last month out of public view at their country home Anmer Hall with their two children, Charlotte and 22-month-old Prince George.

On Saturday, William attended English soccer’s FA Cup final in London and urged FIFA’s embattled leadership to reform and “put the sport first.”
