UNEEDA, W.Va. (AP) - Several high-tension power lines in Boone County caught fire, causing outages and road closures in the area.

WOWK-TV (https://bit.ly/1ct2hgZ ) reports power lines along Route 85 near Uneeda caught fire for an unknown reason Sunday.

The outage left at least 414 customers in the county without power, including the majority of the radios at the Boone County Emergency 911 Center.

Dispatchers said they are using alternate power sources.

Route 85 was closed while the Madison and Van Fire Departments out the flames.
