NEW CUMBERLAND, W.Va. (AP) - Three former school sites in Weirton are going on the auction block.

The Weirton Daily Times (https://bit.ly/1BzYCEP ) reports that the properties will be sold on Wednesday at a public auction at the board’s offices in New Cumberland.

Broadview, Liberty and Weirton Heights elementary schools were razed after they were replaced by Weirton Elementary School, which opened in 2014.

Minimum bids are $240,000 for the Broadview property and $200,000 for the Liberty property.

The Weirton Heights property is comprised of nine lots. Minimum bids are $40,000 for four lots being sold as one parcel, and $50,000 for five lots being sold as one parcel.
