TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - New Jersey is bracing for another round of severe storms that forecasters say could spawn hail, heavy rains and strong, gusty winds.

The storms were expected to hit the region Monday night and continue through early Tuesday.

The National Weather Service was warning residents that severe thunderstorms were possible in most areas.

The storms could contain quarter-size hail and damaging winds that could gust up to 60 mph. They also could spur flash flooding and cause hazardous travel conditions.

The storms also could spur another round of flooding in some areas, especially those with poor drainage.
