ASPEN, Colo. (AP) - Ride-sharing application Uber offers sporadic service in the Aspen area, and a city official says even that is too much for a company with no business license on file.

The Aspen Times reports (https://bit.ly/1BCjsn0) one driver was available on the app on Thursday night, and city spokeswoman Mitzi Rapkin says Uber will be asked to obtain a business license if the company is found to be operating in Aspen.

Company representatives could not be reached to provide comment.
