ST. LOUIS (AP) - Inspectors are examining a railroad bridge near downtown St. Louis after the bridge was struck by a tractor-trailer.
The accident happened Monday morning at Seventh and Gratiot, not far from Busch Stadium. The truck was carrying a boom lift that was apparently too tall to pass under the bridge, marked 13 feet, 5 inches.
No one was hurt and it wasn’t immediately clear if the truck driver would face charges.
The bridge was shut down after the accident.
