NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (AP) - U.S. Marshals have captured a Nevada man who was wanted with his mother to face charges alleging they plotted to kill a suburban Indianapolis divorce attorney seeking money from the woman’s boyfriend.

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department said Friday that marshals apprehended 21-year-old Richard Perillo of Laughlin, Nevada, in San Diego on Thursday. It says it will begin the extradition process to return Perillo to Noblesville to face charges including conspiracy to commit murder, theft and criminal trespass.

His mother, 51-year-old Renee Perillo of Panama City, Florida, faces the same charges. She remains at large.

The two had been released from the Hamilton County Jail on $20,000 bonds May 23 after being arrested on lesser charges outside the Noblesville home of an attorney pursuing unpaid settlement money from Perillo’s boyfriend.
