COLUMBUS, Ga. (AP) - Two new names are set to be added to the National Infantry Museum’s Walk of Honor.

Military officials at Fort Benning say the names of Medal of Honor recipients Sgt. Kyle White and Staff Sgt. Ryan Pitts be added to the walk Saturday. Officials say both have been honored for their work in Afghanistan.

Military officials say Pitts threw grenades and returned fire at enemy forces, despite being severely injured with shrapnel wounds and unable to stand during a July 2008 attack. He was presented with the Medal of Honor in July 2014.

Officials say White provided medical help to one soldier who had been shot during a November 2007 attack and dodged enemy fire several times when he tried dragging another wounded soldier to safety.
