NASHUA, N.H. (AP) - Police in the southern New Hampshire city of Nashua are investigating an accident that sent a car crashing into a restaurant and left four people injured.

The Nashua Fire Department reports that a passenger van and a car collided on Main Street early Saturday morning and sent the car into Norton’s Classic Cafe. The restaurant was not open at the time of the 5:30 a.m. crash, but two employees were inside preparing for the day.

Authorities say neither employee was hurt, but both drivers and two passengers in the van were transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.

Authorities did not provide the identities of the drivers or passengers, nor how badly they were hurt.

Officials said the restaurant would be closed until the building could be inspected.
