HONOLULU (AP) - A fire that caused the evacuation of a food court in a major Honolulu mall has caused more than $700,000 in damages to the structure.

Fire Captain Kevin Mokulehua says emergency crews took two security guards away from Ala Moana Center to be treated for smoke inhalation Friday afternoon.

He says no one else was injured in the smoky scene.

Firefighters were called to the mall around 2:30 p.m. and the evacuation was underway. But Mokulehua says the fire was invisible so it took more than two hours to find the elusive blaze. He says they used a thermal imaging camera to find the source.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
