MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - A new television show promises to take viewers to both familiar and unusual locations in Minnesota.

“The Minnesota Traveler” debuts June 28 at 8:30 a.m. on Fox Sports North and Fox Sports Wisconsin.

Minneapolis-based McCally-Lee Entertainment created the show. The first series of 13 episodes features everything from the Red Bull Crashed Ice contest in St. Paul to hidden gems in small-town Minnesota.

Minnesota native Jennifer Mergen hosts the show. For the premiere episode, Mergen and her crew visited the Eagan area for a report on Twin Cities Premium Outlets, followed by stops at the Minnesota Zoo, Cascade Bay Waterpark and local eateries.
