WASHINGTON (AP) - The District Department of Transportation has announced lane shifts and partial closures on a stretch of Interstate 395 in Washington beginning later this summer.

Beginning June 22 two southbound traffic lanes from Massachusetts Avenue to E Street NW will remain open but will be shifted to the east to allow for road work during daylight hours.

DDOT cautions motorists to expect delays during nighttime hours during the week of June 22, when one of the two southbound lanes will be closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.
