BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is proposing to expand fishing opportunities in the Devils Lake Wetland Management District in North Dakota.

U.S. Sen. John Hoeven says the rule would allow sport fishing for the first time at the Ardoch, Lake Alice, Rose Lake and Silver Lake national wildlife refuges.

Hoeven says more fishing opportunities would add to North Dakota’s rich tradition of outdoor recreation and also boost the state’s economy.
