CHICAGO (AP) - Chicago police are investigating the death of a woman who fell off a railing and onto a roadway that snakes underneath portions of the city.

Authorities say the 25-year-old woman was leaning over a railing on Upper Wacker Drive when she fell below onto the pavement of East Lower Wacker Drive around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday. She was pronounced dead on the scene.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified her as Generra Lee of Chicago.

Police say preliminary information suggests the death was accidental and have opened a death investigation into the incident.
