WASHINGTON (AP) - District of Columbia police are investigating two homicides in different parts of the city.

Police say a 54-year-old man was fatally stabbed on Saturday afternoon in southeast Washington. The stabbing occurred shortly after 5 p.m. Police say the victim, Kenneth Fogle, was pronounced dead at a hospital.

About two hours later, police say a 44-year-old Maryland man was found slain near a recreation center in northeast Washington. Police have not detailed how he died. The victim has been identified as Donald Bush of Upper Marlboro.

Police have not identified any suspects in either slaying.
