PHOENIX (AP) - Yavapai County Sheriff’s Department detectives are looking for information about the death of a 23-year-old woman whose body was found in a drainage canal.

KSAZ-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1FgOam5 ) that deputies say they found the body of Jennifer Holgate on Thursday.

She is from Prescott Valley, but deputies think she traveled back and forth between Prescott Valley and Cottonwood over the last few days of her life.

Deputies say she was released from the Camp Verde Detention Center around the afternoon of June 9. Dwight D’Evelyn with the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Department says Holgate had been in jail for two days after being arrested on a misdemeanor warrant.

Detectives say they want to hear from people who knew Holgate, especially anyone who had contact with her in the days following her release.
