ROCK SPRINGS, Wyo. (AP) - A 44-year-old former Sweetwater County sheriff’s deputy has pleaded not guilty to four charges of perjury stemming from traffic stops in 2014.

Sean Christopher Henry, of Green River, appeared before Judge Rick Lavery at an arraignment hearing Thursday in the 3rd Judicial District Court.

The Rock Springs Rocket-Miner reports (https://bit.ly/1L52ZQP ) that Henry faces four charges of perjury. He is accused of making false statements in affidavits and testifying falsely under oath in traffic stops he was involved with.

Henry remains free on a $5,000 personal recognition bond.

Lavery set an Oct. 13 trial date.
