YORK TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Two people who were fatally stabbed during a home invasion in Washtenaw County have been identified as a boy and a 26-year-old man.

Three more people were stabbed, including the boy’s mother. A friend identified her as 31-year-old Vicki Moore of Indian River in northern Michigan.

Sharon Hush tells the Detroit Free Press (https://on.freep.com/1Tmlfro ) that Moore and another woman were taking their children to a weekend race at Michigan International Speedway. Instead of camping, they stayed at a house in York Township.

The attack occurred around 6 a.m. Saturday.

Hush says Moore’s 12-year-old son, Timber Brown, was killed. Hush says half brother John Brown also died.
