PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire Fish and Game officials will hold a public information session on fashioning a spending plan for additional disaster relief funds coming to the state’s groundfish industry.

The session will be held on June 30 at 6 p.m. at the Urban Forestry Center in Portsmouth.

New Hampshire is receiving an additional $1 million in Greater Atlantic Fisheries Disaster Funds.

The disaster funding recognizes how the groundfish industry has been affected by mandatory harvest reductions since 2013.

The development of a draft spending plan for distribution of the additional funding will be discussed at the meeting. Topics will include establishing eligibility criteria and allocation formulas.

The N.H. Fish and Game Department will be taking written input on potential uses of these funds through July 17, 2015.
