DAYTON, Ohio (AP) - The National Museum of the U.S. Air Force in southwest Ohio says its missile and space gallery will be open again in time for the 4th of July weekend.

The gallery has been closed for nearly seven months because of work linking it to the museum’s fourth building that is under construction. The new building is scheduled to open in the spring of 2016 at the museum near Dayton.

Some exhibits including one on the space shuttle will be closed later during the changes related to the new museum building.

The missile and space gallery is scheduled to re-open July 3.
