FRANKLIN, La. (AP) - Louisiana State Police have arrested two people in a March 13 fatal hit and run on Highway 182 east of Jeanerette in which the victim was struck by two vehicles, neither of which stopped.

Trooper Brooks David says 46-year-old Brian Timken, of New Iberia, and 25-year-old Kayla Norris, of Franklin, were booked into the St. Mary Parish Jail Saturday.

The Advocate reports (https://bit.ly/1IeQYCl ) Timken was booked on counts of hit and run and obstruction of justice, while Norris was arrested for hit and run.

David says the crash took the life of 33-year-old Kista Sedotal, of Jeanerette. She was walking along the highway when she was struck by a westbound pickup truck.
