SALEM, Va. (AP) - A defunct brick maker’s properties in Salem and Madison will be sold at auction this month.

Old Virginia Brick closed in April after 125 years of operation. The company attributed the decision to a decline in demand.

SVN/Motley’s has scheduled auctions on June 23 at 10 a.m. in Madison Heights and 1 p.m. in Salem. Auctioneer Tim Dudley tells The News & Advance (https://bit.ly/1dEI1Ks ) that about 10 to 25 people are expected to attend the auctions.
