APPLETON, Wis. (AP) - Heavy rains have caused street flooding in Appleton.

City Engineer Ross Buetow tells Post-Crescent Media (https://post.cr/1BiMfSM ) that drivers should stay off the roads until conditions improve.

Appleton’s Department of Public Works and local law enforcement agencies have been overwhelmed with callers reporting flooded streets.

No damage to houses has been reported to the sheriff’s office.
