BEATRICE, Neb. (AP) - The Homestead National Monument of America is hosting an event with a variety of music, dancing and a herd dog demonstration.

Homestead Days 2015 is scheduled for Friday through Sunday at the monument west of Beatrice. Nine different presentations are scheduled at the Education Center, Heritage Center and on the prairie.

Events include a fashion show with clothes from the 1860s through 1960s, a musical show for children, storytelling, a barbershop chorus and a herd dog demonstration. The Wilber Senior Czech Dancers and a polka band will perform on Saturday and Sunday.
