BRENDTWOOD, N.H. (AP) - Jury selection is starting in the trial of a teenager accused of hitting two women with a car in Hampton, New Hampshire.

Police said 18-year-old Remi Gross-Santos was on his way to Portsmouth High School for a graduation rehearsal when he struck the two women, seriously injuring both of them.

Remi Gross-Santos was charged with second-degree assault and driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Last week, a judge tossed the blood test results from the trial after Gross-Santos’ attorney, Andrew Cotrupi, argued they were drawn without a warrant.
