DALLAS (AP) - A man has been arrested after police say he shot his friend during a game of Russian Roulette in the parking lot of a Dallas hotel.

Dallas media outlets report the 27-year-old suspect was arrested late Saturday. According to an arrest affidavit, the suspect shot Jaskaran Singh Saturday afternoon while they were sitting in a car.

The suspect told police he emptied his handgun and handed it to Singh, who pointed the gun at him and pulled the trigger twice. The weapon did not fire. He told police that he took the gun and pulled the trigger twice. The gun fired the second time, striking Singh in the head.

Authorities say the suspect then drove Singh to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The suspect’s bond was set at $150,000.
