BOSTON (AP) - The cost of a gallon of gas in Massachusetts has jumped another 6 cents.

Although the in-state price is 9 cents higher than it was a month ago, it is still 8 cents per gallon lower than the national average and 92 cents lower than the Massachusetts price a year ago.

AAA found self-serve, regular selling for as low as $2.52 per gallon and as high as $2.95.
