CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - A 32-year-old Casper man is expected to stand trial in October for allegations that he stabbed another man multiple times at the home of a woman who had an order of protection against him.

The Casper Star-Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1C84ghP ) that Robert Allen Snyder is charged for the March 8 stabbing of 28-year-old Kevin Simmons. He pleaded not guilty in May.

Prosecutors say Snyder argued with the woman before stabbing Simmons 13 times in the arms, chest and back.

At the time of the stabbing, Snyder was on probation for violating the protective order and free on bond on a charge he had violated it a second time.

Snyder remains at Natrona County Detention Center pending his Oct. 19 trial. He is being represented by public defenders Rob Oldham and Jared Holbrook.
