BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Rescue crews have recovered a body from Boulder Creek in the area where a witness reported seeing a fisherman floating downstream.

Cmdr. Heidi Prentup with the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office tells The Daily Camera (https://goo.gl/MSSBWc ) the body of a 42-year-old man was recovered Monday afternoon, but she would not say if it was the fisherman’s.

Prentup says authorities have confirmed that a fisherman was reported missing after failing to come back home from Boulder Canyon on Sunday. The person in fishing clothes seen Sunday was last spotted going under a bridge but was not seen emerging from on the other side.

A man reported missing while tubing in the creek last month has still not been found.

The creek is expected to rise even more in the next few days.
