NEW YORK (AP) - The NYPD’s harbor unit recovered two bodies from New York City’s waterways over the weekend.

Police say the body of Vernon Bogie was pulled out of Eastchester Bay Sunday afternoon.

The Daily News (https://nydn.us/1IXEe8T ) says the 61-year-old victim had been reported missing from his Bronx home on Friday. Police say there were no visible signs of trauma.

About one hour later, a 33-year-old woman was found beneath the George Washington Bridge. She was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead. She was not immediately identified.
