MAGNOLIA, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say they are searching for a Dover man after a house party fight prompted a shooting in Magnolia.

Police say 19-year-old Denzel Braker was attending the party at a home on Marshview Terrace on Saturday night. According to police, Braker got into a fight with a 20-year-old Magnolia man, and during the altercation, pulled out a handgun which he used to assault the victim.

Police say Braker then used the gun to shoot a 30-year-old Dover man before fleeing. Police say Braker left in a gold Chevrolet Suburban with a Delaware license plate.

Both victims were treated for non-life threatening injuries at area hospitals.

There is an active warrant for Braker’s arrest on assault and weapons charges.
