COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - A prosecutor wants a teenager tried as an adult following his arrest on murder and kidnapping charges in the fatal shootings of four people at an Ohio home.

Columbus police have not provided a motive for the slayings, which were discovered Saturday morning after a report of a female with blood on her.

Officers found a teenage girl injured outside the home and then discovered the four dead inside the residence.

The girl was treated at a hospital and released.

Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien says motions are being filed to have the teen tried as an adult.

The 16-year-old’s attorney, Eric Hoffman, said that move by prosecutors was expected. Hoffman entered the juvenile court equivalent of a not-guilty plea Monday.
