PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - A Providence bar that was ordered to temporarily close after an emergency meeting last week is staying closed for at least one more day.

WPRI-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1Fi4BOM) the city’s Board of Licenses said at an emergency hearing Sunday it wants to hear from the club manager and a bouncer before deciding the future of El Secreto Bar & Grill on Public Street. The bar will remain closed until at least Monday.

They say both may have seen the shooting that took place last Thursday morning.

The bar was ordered to temporarily shut down after a man was shot multiple times outside the establishment early Thursday morning. WPRI-TV previously reported the bouncer told police the shooting happened after the bouncer threw two men out for fighting.
