CALDWELL, Idaho (AP) - Authorities have identified a southwest Idaho woman police say was shot and killed by her husband.

The Canyon County Sheriff’s Office on Monday identified 39-year-old Amparo Godinez Sanchez of Wilder as the woman killed Thursday.

Police say her husband, 51-year-old Erasmo Alcala Diaz of Wilder, fled the scene.

Police in Oregon found his vehicle a few hours later in Adrian, just across the Idaho border.

Authorities say they are still looking for Diaz and that people who help him hide could face prosecution.
