BRYANT, Ark. (AP) - Search dogs are combing a 108-acre juvenile treatment center for a runaway teenager.

The Arkansas Department of Human Services says the 17-year-old boy fled Saturday evening from a recreation room at the Arkansas Juvenile Assessment and Treatment Center in Bryant. Officials say there isn’t any indication that the youth has escaped from the campus, which is surrounded by a razor wire-topped fence.

Officials say the teenager has been at the facility for two months for unspecified nonviolent misdemeanor offenses.
