DALLAS (AP) - A Dallas-area youth soccer coach has been charged with molesting an athlete in an investigation that began with allegations from three ex-players.

Dallas County jail records show 47-year-old Rolando Ramos was being held Tuesday on a charge of indecency with a child by sexual contact.

Online jail records do not list an attorney to speak on behalf of Ramos, who’s head coach for C.D. Independiente (in-duh-pen-dee-EN’-tay) of the Garland Soccer Association.

Ramos was arrested Monday, with bond set at $2,500.

Dallas police say three people allege abuse while playing for Ramos between 2006 and 2012, as juveniles. The complaint that led to this week’s arrest involves a player who was 14 at the time of the alleged incident.

A message left with the association wasn’t immediately returned Tuesday.
