HARDEEVILLE, S.C. (AP) - Authorities have made an arrest in the fatal shooting last week of a man at an apartment complex in Hardeeville.

Area media outlets report that the U.S. Marshals Service and the Beaufort County sheriff’s deputies arrested 20-year-old Naijuwuan Chisholm on Monday in Beaufort. Chisholm was found hiding under a shed.

He’s charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime in the June 9 shooting death of the 23-year-old Sterling Jenkins.

It was not immediately known if Chisholm has an attorney.
