ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - A fire that broke out in Anaheim and set a row of garages ablaze has left a man dead.

KNBC-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1R58sWj ) an Anaheim Fire Department spokesman says the two-alarm fire started early Tuesday morning. The blaze burned through five detached garage units, with three suffering from major damage.

A man in his late 40s to early 50s was found dead in one of the units. He is believed to have been living there.

It took Anaheim and Fullerton fire departments around 20 minutes to put out the fire.

Local residents say the man used to build furniture in the unit where he was found. He was described as polite and friendly.
