LAS VEGAS (AP) - Las Vegas police are circulating a composite sketch and security camera images of a gunman sought in the robbery and shooting of a clerk last week at a sandwich shop in southeast Las Vegas.

Police say the man had a small handgun and struggled with two clerks before the shooting about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the back room of a Subway shop on Maryland Parkway near Pebble Road,

They say the female clerk was shot several times in the upper body and face and was hospitalized with critical injuries.

Officer Jesse Roybal said Tuesday he didn’t have an update on her condition.

Police say the suspect is believed to be 25 to 30 years old, about 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-6 inches tall and 145 pounds with a dark complexion.
