FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (AP) - A second person has been arrested in the shooting death of a man at a party in Fayetteville earlier this month.

Fayetteville police said Monday that 23-year-old Matthew Emmanuel Brown of Durham was arrested by the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force.

Brown is charged with first-degree murder in the June 7 shooting death of 25-year-old Leandre Jamarcus Leguerre. His body was found outside a home after officers responded to reports of gunfire. Two other people were hurt.

Twenty-three-year-old Demario Deshawn Eastmon was arrested last week and charged with first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon.

It was not clear if Brown has an attorney.

Brown and Eastmon are being held in the Cumberland County jail.
