BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - The Vermont attorney general’s office says a former Burlington man has been sentenced to 15 years of probation for promoting child pornography.

Court documents say 29-year-old Neil Dragoon was accused of downloading and distributing child pornography. He pleaded guilty to three felony charges of child pornography promotion in April. He was sentenced on Monday.

Dragoon, who now lives in St. Albans, had been ordered to serve 75 days in prison, which he had already completed.

He also is required to register as a sex offender.
