CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Private, nonprofit organizations in six West Virginia counties are facing a deadline for seeking disaster loans to pay for damage caused by severe storms and mudslides in early April.

The U.S. Small Business Administration says the application deadline is July 13. The loans are available to organizations including homeless shelters, museums, libraries and schools in Boone, Cabell, Lincoln, Logan, Mingo and Wayne counties.

Applicants may apply online at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela .
