CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - A man accused of driving his vehicle directly toward a Cheyenne police detective, and then leading authorities on a high-speed chase, has been sentenced to four to 10 years in prison.

The Wyoming Tribune Eagle reports (https://goo.gl/L6ulim ) Jody D. Eisenbarth was sentenced Friday for aggravated assault. Several other charges were dismissed as part of a plea deal.

Detective Jim Harper testified that he feared for his life when Eisenbarth drove toward him last October. During the chase the followed, which reached speeds of 80 mph, investigators say Eisenbarth veered into oncoming traffic multiple times.
