ST. GEORGE, Utah (AP) - St. George police have arrested five people in connection with a shooting this week that left one person injured.

The Spectrum newspaper in St. George reports (https://bit.ly/1I3GIkF ) that the arrestees included the suspected shooter and two women who tried to help him escape.

Police arrested Riley Guerrero on suspicion of attempted homicide. They say he was the one who fired shots Wednesday, injuring a 21-year-old man.

They arrested two women who they say were in a car with Guerrero after the shooting and knew he was wanted. They were arrested on obstruction of justice.

The two others were arrested for drug and evading capture charges.

The AP sought comment on the charges from Guerrero, but could not verify whether he had a listed telephone number. His attorney did not immediately return request for comment.
